The yearbooks in this collection date from 1944 through 1995, with some duplicate copies per year. The early yearbooks are soft cover; later are hard cover. Some early years also have a Christmas edition.

The yearbooks have been stored in a blue wooden box. They were once available for viewing in the RRMC library, and then were made available in the Hatley Park Museum for visitors to view. Around 2005 they were removed from the museum and placed in Millward storage. They were moved to RRU Archives in February 2012 in preparation for digitization.
Scope and content
These yearbooks, known as "The Log", describe the annual happenings at Royal Roads Military College and its antecedents of HMCS Royal Roads, Royal Canadian Naval College, Royal-Canadian Navy-Royal Canadian Air Force College, and Canadian Services College Royal Roads.
